Artists’ statement:

I travelled to the Australian outback a few years ago. I felt deeply attracted to the natural beauty of the outback, the wilderness of which has remained untamed. When I was faced with the endless red land I just felt that human beings are so tiny and insignificant. I’m trying to discover a new way to express my feeling, like a dream or poem. I have been attempting to build a bridge across the subjective and objective. I try to depict the things that have a spiritual quality between reality and the abstract. I hope I can leave more space for the viewers’ imagination.
