Artists’ statement:

Conflict, suffering, dying, destroying, hardship. These words all describe how war affects people. War has always been, and always will be, a very close thing to my heart. How many people die and suffer from wars? Some get injured, some worry about their loved ones. Some are born to die, living in war zones with bombs and missiles surrounding them. They are never able to see the true beauty of the world. Their memories of the war will never be wiped out of their minds. War can make the world look ugly: it takes away the natural beauty of it. Even after the war has ended no one will ever forget it.

From an artist’s point of view I can show how it felt being in a war. This is an impression of war.
