Artists’ statement:
This is a painting of me going on a shopping excursion. I
like walking to my local shops and looking in the Newsagency. I like to buy
magazines for reading and the puzzles. “The Shopping Excursion” is a painting of
me, going shopping, with my handbag. Feeling independent and painting with
bright colours are both close to my
heart.
