“As a designer & artist colour has to be a constant consideration in my work. As in life, it can enrich and destroy a piece. “Rip Her to Shreads” is addressing a constant theme at the moment within my work- The questions arising from the differences between image and representation. Is the photographic image ‘truer’ than the painting? Which is a true depiction of reality? This work also addresses a current dissatisfaction with the industry."
