Lin Lin-Lan

China

" We are living in a space age of constant innovation. It¡¯s imperative for us to reflect the thinking of the generation, bring out the contemporary spirit. Audacious attempts are essential for breaking free of conventions, in pursuit of the most appropriate _expression. Consequently, my work is based on the concept of natural evolution, deriving, command and use elements from nature. The use of nature doesn¡¯t pertain to reproduce the appearance of nature; rather , it¡¯s approached as a source for richer colors in creating more shapes , structure and organization. I¡¯m in pursuit of vitality, abstractions of aesthetic values for reaching the ultimate realm. It¡¯s the goal of my life. I¡¯m found of simple shapes and bright colors which sparkle with joy. I invest all my hopes in wishes in light, color and shape for the passage to my fantasy kingdom.?
