" I have come from a family with an artistic and musical background, so art and music have played an important part in my life. Music has always painted pictures in my imagination. Music is my companion when I paint. The colours of this world are very important to me. A world without colour would be so very dull. I try, in my paintings, to convey how colours excite me. The subject matter is generally chosen with colour in mind. Still life subjects are top of my list, with my approach being slightly abstracted. Paintings of everyday objects that surround us are a moment in time – recorded forever."
