1994 -1995: Artist in Residence, Box Hill Community Arts Centre, Melbourne

Since 1989; employed as a community teacher/artist by a variety of local councils and schools in Melbourne and overseas; creating public and community artworks with children, adults and with people of all abilities in a variety of social and educational settings. Organised many community art exhibitions.

“Wanderlust’ depicts an imaginary Pagan star-god named Ru, who travels the galaxy on his trusted frilled-necked dragon, Celene. Together they wander in search of understanding of the people and cultures they encounter; they have seen the best and worst of humanity. They are sustained by simple pleasures, such as valuing each other’s friendship, cooking for one another and telling stories. As an artist, I love to use my imagination and to play with the beauty of colour.
