Dear fellow women artists,
With decades of history, “Her Presence in Colours” —International Women Artists series Exhibition has been held 7 times. “Her Presence in Colours” was launched in Asia and it passes the spirit of learning and loving amongst each other. It is a crystal fostered by all international women artists. For all these years, I was deeply touched by the spirit and it also called up my devotion for it. Today, on behalf of all Chinese women artists, I am pleased to inform you that “Her Presence in Colours-International Women Artists Exhibition – Beijing will receive its grand opening ceremony at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing on Friday April 11 2008. The exhibition lasts for 15 days. You are sincerely invited to join the exhibition and attend the opening ceremony.
In the same year of this exhibition, Olympic Game 2008 is also to be held in Beijing. With the whole world focusing on Beijing, Year 2008 is a time Chinese people are proud of.
As the capital of China, Beijing has a long time history with splendid culture, which completely preserves many world cultural heritages, like the Forbidden City, Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. It also has many city gate towers, memorial arches, red walls as well as numerous alleys, and former residences of passed celebrities spread all over the place.
Today’s Beijing is the political, financial and cultural center of China, who is on the way to globalization and modernization with big steps. Here, you can find all the world famous trademarks as well as sound brands from all over China. From dressing and eating to living and transportation, all you want for basic necessities can be reached easily. What are worth mentioning are the most famous special products of the old established firms in old Beijing. While participating in the exhibition and sharing insights of art, women artists from home and abroad could also enjoy a wonderful time touring around and shopping.
There will be a grand opening before the exhibition , which shall be well attended by worldwide women artists, Chinese artists in art fields, art lovers, art academy students, major sponsors, political dignitaries as well as all other friends, with whom we shall admire and appreciate all art woks together. Immersed in peace and friendship, we would also watch brilliant Chinese style performance.
Spring, 2008, Beijing, a colorful and vivid art flower would be in full blossom!
Finally, let us wish success to the exhibition!
With warm regards,
Zhao Heng
