Una Kim was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. She immigrated to the United States as a teenager and was educated in the US for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing.
She has been successfully showing both nationally and internationally. She currently teaches Art at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon, USA and resides in Portland with three of her kids and her husband.
She shares her passion in art with her students as a teacher. She values her family the most and draws all her inspiration in art from her life experiences as a mother, a wife, an immigrant, and an artist.
