Doing art, for me, is a
way of expressing the feelings, as individual and as women, towards this
world and life. I have always been engaged in this experience in my
career as an artist.
I had my first solo exhibition and a few other group exhibitions
followed. The work ¡®On the way to Heaven¡¯ received annual Academic award
for the year. I came to England for further interest in visual art.
After history of art course in University of Manchester, I finished MA
degree in Visual Culture in Manchester Metropolitan University. This
course attracted my interest in women artists¡¯ work. I therefore started
PhD research in ¡®comparison of Chinese and western women artists¡¯ work¡¯.
Some of my works were private collected in Australia, China, England and
Spain. In recent years, my work has been exhibited in' contemporary women
artists¡¯ exhibition¡¯ in Dongyu Gallery, ¡®Black Month¡¯ art exhibition in
Greenwich, London, the 7th international women artists¡¯ exhibition,
Korea, and the 8th international women artists¡¯ exhibition, Beijing.
