Artist statement


A moment in the transitional period. In a corner of the homeland, a poor and peaceful life on the riverside and on the other riverside is a modern town with electric light in the early morning.

 

一个过渡时期，在一个家园的角落，在河边一带的人民生活贫穷和安宁，在河的对岸是一个现代城市，每天灯光灿烂至天明。

Ta Thi Anh Hong, born on 20 March 1961 in Vinh Long-Vietnam, member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Vinh Long Literature and Arts Association.

Graduated from the HCM City University of Fine Arts-Major in silk and oil painting, Ta Thi Anh Hong devoted her life for painting and fine arts. She was awarded with the medal for the achievement in Fine Arts (2002), the medal for the achievement in culture and information (2002) and the medal for the achievement in Literature and Arts (2003). Ta Thi Anh Hong was the winner of many prizes in Fine Arts.including B prize  : Region VIII-Mekong Delta (2005) – Vietnam;  C prizes : Region VIII- Mekong Delta (1996-1999-2002) Rewards: (by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association) (1997-1998-2000-2007) and won several prizes for  joint-provinces in Mekong Delta: Encouraging prize (1985), Third prize (1993), First prize (1997) and Second prize (2006).

Her solo exhibition was held at the Vinh Long Literature and Arts Association in 2003. She participated in many group exhibitions in Mekong Delta, Southern Vietnam, in Ha Noi (2004 – 2005) and Saigon Vietnam (2006). Her paintings acquired by the Fine Arts Museum of Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam and the Museum of Vinh Long Province, Vietnam.

1961年生于越南Vinh Long，越南美术协会及Vinh Long文学艺术协会成员之一。胡志明市美术大学毕 业，主修丝绸和油画。 目前是专业画家。她曾荣获荣誉奖：艺术成就奖（ 2002 ）文化和信息成就奖（ 2002年）和文学与艺术成就奖（ 2003 ）。美术创作作品曾经得奖无数。2003年曾在越南Vinh Long艺术文学协会举行个展。曾经参加越南胡志明美术馆及Vinh Long美术馆主办的联展。
