The creative process manifests the positive aspect of humanity. The artist creates a tangible visualization of this positive force. As an individual viewer one becomes a partner in this creative process, and with our gaze and emotional response we become part of this wondrous human force. The artist creates out of an idea or a dream, from which the artist visualizes and then creates a tangible object, which we say is ‘beautiful’-not that all art has to be beautiful to capture our mind and feelings. As an audience we admire, feel and think about what this other human being has created and brought forth as this tangible object.
If
there is great resonance, we want to own it have it talk to us over a
period of time, then add it to our life and leave this object we love
for others to cherish and enjoy over many more generations. |
