I have a deep and endless passion for painting that began as a child. Learning from my ancestors, I was encouraged to paint from life to memory. With a paintbrush in hand, I allow what I feel to come through without rules, restrictions or constraints. This, of course, is very feeing for me and painting is one of my greatest joys in life.
My purpose as an artist is to remind those who see my art
that the seed of creativity is within each of us and we are reflection
of one another. It is also important that my art act as a reminder for
us to play, create, and believe.

Coming from a family of artists, Angela began painting at an early age. Her deep love for the impressionistic works of Degas, Monet, Renoir and the post-impressionistic works of Paul Cezanne, was extremely influential in the development of her style and technique using colors on canvas. Capturing the essence of her subject in a bold intuitive way, Angela uses vigorous expressive brush strokes and minimal color mixing on the pallet to create classic landscapes, city scenes, portraiture and other scenes from her life’s memories. Her most recent works convey messages (conscious and unconscious-hidden and obvious) that provoke thought and contemplation. Originally from California, now living in Oregon, Angela has over 30 year experience in oil color and has spent most of her life painting commission art for private collectors.
