I
have
always had interests in painting, thinking brushes and colours can work
wonders in the world.
When I started University in Shenyang, China, contemporary art
immediately interested me. It was really fascinating me when I could
put object, people, landscape as well as abstract feeling into two
dimensions. In 1995, I had my first solo exhibition and a few other
group exhibitions followed. The work ‘On the way to Heaven’ received
University Academic award for the year.
In order to pursue further
knowledge on western art, I came to England. I attended history of art
course for a year in University of Manchester, and finished MA degree in
Visual Culture in Manchester Metropolitan University. This course
attracted my interest in women artists’ work. In 2004, I started PhD
research course in ‘comparison of Chinese women artists’ work and
western women artists’ work in between late 1980s to mid 1990s’.
During my further education
years, I carried on painting. Some of my work was private collected in
Australia, China and England. In 2001, I was invited for ‘contemporary
women artists’ exhibition’ in Dongyu Gallery, Shenyang. In October
2006, I was invited to have a small exhibition for ‘Black Month’ in
Greenwich, London. At the same time, the work ‘Beautiful, indifferent,
made-up faces’ was in the 7th international women artists’
exhibition, South Korean.
I like painting. I paint
abstract, realistic, or any means that can express my feelings towards
this world and life and really enjoy this career not only as individual
but also as women.
我一直对绘画有兴趣，认为画笔和颜色可以在这个世界上创造奇迹。
我最初被当代艺术所吸引的时候是在中国沉阳大学念书时。对我来说以二元次的形象来代替物体，人物，风景，以及抽象的感觉是很有趣的事。1995年，我主办了第一次个展，之后，
参加了几次联展览。我的作品：'通往天堂之路'
在那年荣获大学学术奖。
为了深入探讨西方艺术方面的知识，我来到了英国并在英国曼彻斯特大学进修美术史。考获曼彻斯特城市大学视觉文化硕士文凭。我开始对女性艺术家们的著作品感觉兴趣。2004年，开始进修博士，研究课题：“1980
至1990年代中国女艺术家和西方女性艺术家的作品比较”
我一面进修一面画画。收藏我的作品的有来自澳洲，中国和英国的私人收藏家。
2001年，获邀参加被阳东宇画廊主办的'当代女性艺术家展'。2006年10月，我在伦敦格林尼治主办小型展览会-'黑月'

我喜欢以抽象的，写实及各种画法来表达我对这个世界和生命的感觉。无论是作为一个独立个体和身为女性，我都一样享受这份事业。
