Artist Statement

My intention is to transform object in nature into art form. I employ colours and brush techniques to depict the expressive quality of forms. I like to use romantic color to depict the colours of nature. Yo quote my painting master who stated that:  “I want to become part of  nature- lively, unpredictable and dynamic."

Painting to me is to capture the essence of nature so as to convey a message of eternality

 

因為喜愛繪畫及崇尚大自然，而潛心於學習第二自然的表現方式，就是不拘於形式，藉著畫筆任由情感揮灑，釋放自己，把它視為作品的最高境界。用浪漫的色彩，畫天空的雲彩、樹木、海邊的岩石。追尋大師所言〝我要成為大自然一種媒介的力量，不可預測，變化多端和充滿活力。〞

Born in Kaohsiung Taiwan, in 1952. Interested in Art since childhood.  the primary A self taught artists, she explores  the techniques of Impressionism.  Since  1998 she participated in many group exhibitions and had won several awards for her art.
 
Her love for nature has prompted her to reflect the spirituality of nature. She exploited the  spontaneous brush strokes and colours to express the spirit of nature and the  emotional content. Imageries of the landscape like the sky , clouds, trees , seaside and rock are depicted with brilliant colours. Her intention is to reflect the dynamic and lively spirit of nature.  Wang Shu Ying  would like to capture the beauty of nature into canvas.

1952年生長於臺灣高雄市，小學時就喜愛在紙上塗鴉，成長過程中始終不捨棄對繪畫的喜好，於是在一次機緣中開始進入這領域理，並接受多位師輩的不吝指導與努力學習，從印象派去探索到表現派的狂熱與喜愛。爾後，在1998─2006年之間有舉辦個展和多次畫會聯展並有參賽作品得獎。

繪畫特質：既酷愛現實，同時也熱情發掘精神價值，補捉大自然變幻莫測卻驟然消逝的景象，將瞬間的印象化為永恆的記憶 。
