Artist Statement

My art is an expression of personal feelings and colours, an integration of tradition and modernity. In painting , I  like to explore  the various techniques and  mediums. I have created works in  batik, water color, oil paintings, acrylic and  pottery  To me , the process of creativity is both an interesting and pleasurable experience.

我的艺术创作，强调结合个人的感受和色彩，并融合了传统与现代， 我曾尝试各类颜料， 并以不同的媒介-蜡染，水彩，油画，压克力，陶艺，油画等创作。艺术创作对我来说愉快和有趣的经验。

Born in Taiwan and resides in Penang for more than 15 years.  Graduated  Diploma in Fine Arts at Conservatory of Fine Arts, Penang.  Studied flower arrangement under Madam Honey Lim Poh Bee..Participated in many exhibitions held at various important museums and state art galleries, locally and abroad including Her Presence in Colours – Aisan/ International Women Artists Exhibition series held in Malaysia, Australia and Korea.since 2003.  In 2005, she held her first solo exhibition in Penang, Malaysia.

林美女， 生于台湾，跟随丈夫在槟城居住了超过 15年。2002年槟榔艺术学院纯美术专业文凭毕业 。曾经跟随林宝美学习花艺。曾多次参加在槟城及海外博物馆和画廊举行的联展. 包括[她的彩色空间-亚洲/世界女画家系列联展]在马来西亚，澳洲，韩国美术馆/画廊展出（2003- 2006）。2005年，她在槟城举办个人画展。
