I was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1953. Ever since the third grade, I have always wanted to be a painter,an artist. But due to pressures from school, I was only able to learn about Chinese painting from my father during his spare time。 After I graduated from the university then I have take lessons on Chinese paintings more than ten years and a few years for western paintings. From the diffrent experience of the paintings and by taking the feelings I had towards Chinese culture, I turned them into sources of creativity. Using the western painting style as a method of expressions, I attempted to give my cultural roots a new definition. 1953 年 我 出生於台北, 台灣. 從小學三年級起, 我就希望以後能成為一位畫家, 一位藝術家, 但由於升學考試的壓力, 使我只能在父親公餘之暇, 獲得一些中國水墨畫的基本指導. 大學畢業後, 我始得以拜師研習中國水墨畫十餘年, 之後, 又研習西畫數年. 從中西繪畫所獲得的不同經驗中, 我將深藏於內心的中國文化情感, 激發成為創作的原動力, 以西方繪畫型式表達 我對文化根源的再詮釋. |
