Artist Statement

In the open and vast world of arts, I can freely indulge in free exploration and experience different facets of life with a heart full of keen curiosity like an innocent child. Arts open my eyes to the connections, both tangible and intangible, among people, events and objects. Arts lead my mind through the external world and into the internal one. Arts trigger my every bit imagination of the Nature, which I try to capture with pigments and brushes on the canvas. Each line, colour and form, be it dynamic or static, not only records a part of my memories or moments of sentiment in my life but also gives a meaning, a new form of life to them. In this simple, sweet and peaceful world of arts, I find a place of belonging to express my interpretation of life and to develop my language of arts.

艺术天地，自由开圹，任人遨游沉浸；常以一颗好奇敏感的心，如赤字般体验人生；藉迷蒙的双眼，看人，事，物间的虚实牵离；自在游走思观，心，眼物体而燃动了思绪的异想。对自然的幻化，一支笔，一个记忆，一份感动，用色彩烙印在画布上呈现全心的生命，而在形，色，线与动静之中，婉约，单纯，恬静的甘芳之境里，构建了自己生命中的心象符码。

Born 1960 in Kaosiung , Taiwan. Member of Kaohsiung City Art Promotion Association; International Artist Inter Change Association, Chinese Yuanshan painting Association and Kaohsiung City Art Association. 1998, invited to the “International Art Exhibition”held in  Ikoma,nara,Japan. 2006 she held her  first Solo exhibition at Chih-Chen Hall, Kaohsiung. Participated in many group exhibitions including  “Trion Exhibition of Oil Painting” (2001), “Creativity Exchange Exhibition in Asia” ( 2002) , “Joint Exhibition by the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts” (2003), “M.W. Portrait and Human Body Sculpture Exhibition “(2004), Joint Exhibition by Female Artist in Malaysia and  Taiwan, held in Kuala Lumpur. (2004),   “ Chinese Yuanshan Painting  “ (2004), Curated the “Joint Exhibition of Paintings for the year of  Rooster,”atTaichung Country Seaport Art Center, (2005) , “Joint Exhibition of Works by Friend of Jung Garden,”held in Jilin Gallery, Taipei City. (2005), Listed in the yearbook of the Association of Chinese and Taiwanese Artists around the World(2005), Her Presence In Colours VII- International Women Artists Exhibition –Korea 2006 . Kaohsiung City Art Association Exhibition, Cultural Center ( 2006). Recipient of “Outstanding Award in the”National 100 Oil Painting “(2004), Outstanding Award in the Cimei Landscape Painting Contest (2005)
