Artist Statement Look at any child’s face… you will see and feel “peace”. As you get older, find that little child in you. Perhaps, you will feel at peace again... even if it’s just a distant dream. 看看孩子的脸…你会看见和感觉到"和平"。当你老了， 小孩子成为你自己。也许，你会再次的觉得和平...即使那只是一个遥远的梦。

Nurhayati comes from a family with a keen interest in Art. Her family was awarded a certificate by the Malaysia Book of Records as “Having the Most Artists in A Family” (nine of them – a father and eight children) after having a group Art Show in 2002 to raise money for the autistic children in Sarawak, Malaysia. Nurhayati now runs her own Art & Design Company with her younger brother in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. A Recipient of “Best Art Student” , MARA Junior Science College, Kuala Terengganu (1991) and Bachelor Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication (Minors in Fine Art, Communication Studies and Psychology) , University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. She had held solo exhibitions at the Golden Palette Art Gallery, Subang Jaya (2004) and had participated in many group exhibitions including "The Charms of Sabah", MWO Group Art Exhibition at Sabah Art Gallery, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia(2005), "The Artful Family" Art Exhibition at the National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, 2-17 April 2005，“Mother’s Love”, Galeri Art Point (2005 and 2006) and” Her Presence in Colours – International Women Artists Exhibition series” held in Australia (2004)and Korea (2006). Her works are in the collection of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohammad, ex-Prime Minister of Malaysia TYT Sarawak (Head of State), Chief Minister of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Hj. Abdul Taib (portrait & painting), Her Royal Highness the Queen of Terengganu (portrait), Datuk Dr. Mohammad Khir Toyo, MB Selangor (portrait) and Prof. Urban Hagg, Hong Kong University. 诺哈雅迪出生于一个艺术世家。她的父亲和她的八个兄弟姐妹都是画家。曾获马来西亚记录大全封为“最多艺术家的家庭”。2 002年他们一家人为马来西亚砂勞越自闭症儿童筹集资金。诺哈雅迪和她的弟弟在马来西亚吉隆坡开设了一家设计公司。 2004年，她在吉隆坡举办个人画展。 她曾参加的联展包括[她的彩色空间-亚洲/世界女画家系列联展]在马来西亚，澳洲，韩国美术馆/画廊展出（2003- 2006）和槟城艺梵画廊与世界母乳行动联盟联合主办的[ 母爱]系列展（2005 -2006）。典藏她的作品的收藏家包括马来西亚前任首相敦·马哈蒂尔·宾·穆罕默德医生，沙捞越州首席部长泰益及马来西亚丁加奴州王妃（肖像画）。 |
