Artist Statement

In the early period of my creative life, I had focused more on pottery and sculpture. Later on I become interested in oil painting.  Pottery and sculptures becomes the theme for my painting. My intention is to express my feelings and love for pottery. Recently I am interested in the Art and Literature of Children. I admire children art that reflects world of children which is innocent, pure and truthful.

早期非常热爱陶艺及雕塑，在创作的过程中融入了许多精神和情感，也从中得到了许多不同的‘美’的经验，每件作品皆是自己最真挚的告白，因而在后来的油画创作中，常以自己的陶艺或雕塑作品为主题，以不同的美学角度再创作，表达自己对陶艺之情及最初的感动，是我后期油画创作的主要灵感来源。在我的整个画画过程中，作品当然也涉及其他题材，但这题材是我的最爱，也形成了我的个人画画风格。

除了艺术创作之外，我对儿童画也有浓厚的兴趣，喜欢探讨儿童美术及儿童文学，常尝试着以儿童的思维模式及儿童眼光去看这世界，了解儿童的内心世界，从中发现了真和美，得到了莫大的喜悦及启发，我总认为儿童画最美，最纯，最真。常受邀当儿童画品审，这是最喜爱的工作之一，常忘我的了在其中，享受在儿童画世界里。

在多年的画画生涯中，作品曾多次参加海内外画展及雕塑展，除了国内（马来西亚）之外，还包括中国，台湾，美国，澳洲。日本，韩国等。个人认为每次的参展，都是一次的学习，从中得到很大的启发和收获。

Born in Taiwan, and she now resides in Malaysia. Completed Diploma of Fine Arts  at Conservatory of Fine Arts, Penang. Currently she is pursuing her MFA. A member of the Malaysia Chinese Ink Painting Association , Penang Art Society  Association, International Women Artists Malaysia.

She has been painting for many years and has produced artworks in various mediums like oil painting, Chinese ink paintings, sculpture and ceramic. She has toke part in many local and international exhibitions locally and abroad including  including China, Taiwan, USA, Australia. Japan and South Korea. Her works are collected by many private collectors. She has been invited as judge for art competitions.

出生于台湾，现居马来西亚。毕业于马来西亚槟榔艺术学院，目前进修纯美术研究所。现为马来西亚水墨画协会及书艺协会会员，槟城艺术协会会员，世界女艺术协会会员。

从事艺术创作多年，作品包括油画。水墨画，雕塑，陶艺。作品曾被美术馆及私人收藏。也曾多次受邀担任绘画比赛评审.
