I show you new senses in the context of 21st century, the age of information and digital, by synthesizing the established images that have been used in my works all the way and new images freely by the Photoshop and another computer programs as if surrealists restrainedly reproduced their images in various combination. In 1980s I put on LED (Light Emitting Diode) on oil canvas for trying to express the harmony of Pigments colors and light effect. The series of “Present-day urban people” in the early 1990s and “Korean images” since 1996 are construed here a new and then combined with the fractal idea of chaos theory to make another area of image. The results from the Photoshop in which shape and hue can be facilely altered and modified to satisfaction myself make possible to solve the previous feelings of lack that had always had after finishing works. The very point is indeed one of most important charms I have in digital art. The unique and lasting effects fixed in cloth with hue gloss peculiar to silk intact after steam process should suggestively but strongly touch the subtle susceptibility of viewers. I sincerely show you into the wisdom of art in which we can not only liberate ourselves by free imagination and idea but also purely sublimate the pain of our life with acceptance of current properties of 21st century. The expression of Korean Traditional Spirit and the ornamental motifs derived from Korean traditional mural painting’s Images and its harmony with modern sensibility are my art world aim. 我的画作呈现21世纪信息和数码时代的感官知觉。我利用电脑软件如Photoshop和其他软件，把新旧的形象结合或改造，像超写实主义画家们一样，有序地把形象组合和转化成新的艺术形式. 自1980年，我沿用二极发光管LED(light-emitting diode)作为媒介, 表现“光和色素”的效果。90年代，我完成了“都市人系列" 和"韩国影像" 。1996年，我开始把所有的理念片断以混沌理论拓展另一个区域的新意象。 Photoshop变换色彩和调节亮度的效果弥补了我之前对自己作品感觉欠缺的地方，也是数码绘图的吸引我的主要原因。画面的持久性和细腻光泽的效果比丝印的感觉更加含蓄和细腻, 感染力更深刻。 我真诚呈现艺术的真理，不仅可以解放自己，还可以通过自由想象和构思，让自我从21世纪的物质现实中获得释放。我的目的是表达的韩国传统精神，作品中的装饰性图案源自传统壁画,目的是呈现和谐与现代兼容的感性内涵。 |
