她是著名现代艺术家嶋本昭三的弟子。从第一次尝试把头发作为现代艺术的表现方式以来,曾多次受到海外展览会的邀请。除了苦心栽培更多的学生成为发型设计师,更在大学里讲演“头发信息论的文化”。从日本到中国、欧洲、美国等许多国家参加了演讲会、专题讨论会、展览会等广泛的全球性活动,并著书多部。
