Artist Statement

Our life is : day and night – women and man – life and dead – peace and war – these words are looking so contrarily – but they are sustaining each other. Without war (hate, violence…), you don’t know the peace (joy, harmony…)

The bomb is reality!

How did you prize the peace?

我们的生活是：白天和夜晚- 女人与男人-生命和死亡--和平与战争- 都是相对- 但也相联。没有战争（仇恨，暴力… ），你根本不知道和平（欢乐，祥和… ）
炸弹是现实！ 你如何珍惜和平呢？

Born 1946 at Sanspareil, Germany. 1963-66, she studied Art at the "Fachhochschule für Gestaltung", Augsburg,Germany. She was student of Professor Heinz Butz. 1966-67, she studied Psychology and Pedagogy at Augsburg. 1967-96, she taught Art and Sculpture at High Schools at Augsburg and Friedberg. Since 1974, she had participated in numerous exhibitions in Germany. She was one of the Founder-members and President of the "Art-Circle Aichach", Germany ( 1985-93). In 1997, she moved to Italy, region Liguria and currently resides and works at Diano Arentino (IM) and Stella (SV). Waltraud Caroline Keyn is a member of the international Art-Circle of Garlenda, Italy " Amici nel`Arte ". To date, she had held 12 solo exhibitions in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France and China( Beijing 2007). 1985-93 她是 “艾夏赫地区艺术”组织发起成员并担任主席. 1991成为BBK（德国艺术家组织）的成员. 1997她移居到意大利的利古里亚地区，在帝诺 Arentino 生活和工作. 2000, 她成为“格伦达地区国际艺术”组织的成员. 1987-2007年在德国, 意大利, 中国举办11次个展.
