Wang Lvxia, female, was born in Beijing in 1953. Her ancestral hometown is Penglai, Shandong Province. She started to practise painting in her childhood. Her early works have been exhibited in more than thirty countries. She was thence awarded Silver Prize at Vienna World Youth Festival.

She was graduated from art department of Henan Normal College by the end of 1970s. She was apprenticed to famous painters Wu Zuoren, Li Kuchan, Jiang Zhaohe, Liu Lingcang, Lu Chen, Zhou Sicong and Yao Youduo.

Based on the research of Chinese traditional painting and folk art in recent  years and her own experience from life, She has been making every effort to obtain break though in the art field. The works have strong color, plain yet natural patterns, combining heavy color in Chinese painting, folk art and modern aesthetic concepts, thus forming her own unique style.

Her works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, Canada and France. Lots of his creations have been collected and widely acclaimed by home and abroad.

Now she is Member of Artist Association of China, Council of Artist Association of China Film & TV, Member of Artist Association of China Film, Deputy Secretary of Woman Artist Association of Beijing, Member of Folk Art Association of China

王绿霞，1953年生于北京，山东省蓬莱县人。

现为中国美术家协会会员，中国电影电视美术家协会理事，中国电影美术家协会会员，北京女美术家联谊会副秘书长，中国乡土艺术协会会员。

自幼酷爱绘画，儿童时代的作品曾到三十多个国家展出，一九六二年荣获维也纳世界青年联欢节银质奖。

七十年代末毕业于河南师范学院美术系，求教于吴作人、李苦禅、蒋兆和，刘凌沧、卢沉、周思聪、姚有多等先生。近几年深入研究中国传统绘画和民间艺术，并结合自己的生活感受，力求创新，作品色彩浓郁，造型纯朴，将中国画重彩、民间艺术和现代人的审美观念结合在一起，形成了自己的独特风格。

作品曾到香港、新加坡、台湾、日本、美国、加拿大、法国等地展出，被国内外人士收藏，受到各界的关注。
