Su Zi fell in love with painting when she was a little child,Her painting style is a combination of the East and the West.In recent years,she began to researsh the subject kf oil painting nationalization and introduced the expressionnism into her persinal style.But essenntially her styleis the Chinese traditional grand freehand brushwork.And she employ the form language of play characters to make the painting render a novel style,hence to have reached a new ambit. In2000,she held a personal art exhibition in New Zealand. In2001,she attended in an advanced studies on oil painting in the China Central Academy of Fine Arts. In2002,she par participated in the “Jingzhe of March”art exhibition held by the Beijing Female Artists Sodality. In2004,she participated in the The Years Retrospection Exhibition of “Splendid Course”in the Art Museum of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. In2004,she published the personal oil painting volume of herself,which was embodied in the “Painting Collection of Chinese Female Artists. In2004,the Millennirm Gallery held the Suzi Personal Oil Painting Exhibiition. In2005,the Today Art Circles of the Hongkong Yihua Publishing House publeshed an induction article and lots kf works of Su Zi. In 2005.Su Zi participated in the “Painting Adonment”play exhibition held in the Today Gallery,and lots of her works were embodied in the “Painting Volume of Painting Adornment Play Art Exhibiting.” In 2005,her work “Overlord Part From Lover”was sold the Poly Autumn Aucton House. In 2006,“Art Market-Temporary Fine Arts”published a special report of Su Zi,i,e,The Imagist Su Zi,and published some of her works,such as the Night Feast,the Beauty Crown,etc. In 2006,the program“Topic in Paintings”of the World Tourism Channel of China Digital TV interviewed Su Zi and made a special telefilm,i,e.“Soul of Play-An Interview of Artist Su Zi.” On Jun,18,2006,Su Zi held a personal exhibition in the Han-Tang Gallery and published his painting volume-“Yuan·Sheng”. In 2006,she participated in the “Impression·Beijing”Biennial Exhibition in the Capital Museum. In October,2006,She participated in the “2007 Contempoary Arts Exhibition”in Japan 苏子，职业画家，北京女美术家联谊会理事。 自幼热爱绘画，融会中西，近年来潜心研习油画民族化课题，借用戏曲人物的形式语言使画面呈现出新颖独特的画风，绘画风格达到了新的艺术境界。 2001年在中央美术学院进修油画； 2000年以后在新西兰举办和北京举办个人画展3次； 2004在北京参加《精彩历程》十年回顾展； 2005年在今日美术馆参加《画妆》戏曲大展； 2007年在日本参加《2007年当代艺术展》。 2004年出版苏子个人画集，2006年出版画集《原·生》； 2005年香港出版的《今日画坛》刊登介绍文章及多幅作品； 2006年《艺术市场――当代美术》发表对苏子的专题报道； 2006年中国数字电视频道采访苏子并作专题片《戏曲萦魂――访画家苏子》。 |
