He Yunlan graduated from Wood-cut Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1962, has been art editor and professor of fine arts. From 1991 to 2006, she also performed the role of President of Beijing Women Artists Association, Director of Children Fine Arts Committee of Chinese Artists Association, appraiser of National Art Exhibitions, devoted herself to work for relative academic and public welfare projects. In 1995, He Yunlan was honored to be invited to speak at the fourth “N.G.O.” forum for the special topic of Chinese Women Fine Arts. Now she is the Director of Chinese Artists Association.

Her paintings are her unique perceptions and lyrical expressions of life and nature with strong eastern cultural and humanity orientation.

He Yunlan participated in many China’s National Arts Exhibitions, “Century, Women”, ”International Fine Arts Exhibition-Chinese Painting and Oil Painting”, “International Ink-and-Wash Paintings Exhibition”. She has had 9 time private exhibitions in six countries. In National Fine Arts Exhibitions, her works won two silver prizes and one bronze and several best performance prize in several high-profile international exhibitions.

1937年出生于浙江海宁。

1962年毕业于中央美术学院版画系，历任美术编辑、绘画教授等职。

1991年至2006年先后兼任北京市女美术家联谊会会长，中国美协少儿艺委会主任，全国美展评委等工作，致力于相关的学术性、公益性项目。

中国美术家协会理事和全国文联代表大会代表，也是第四届世界妇女代表大会“N.G.O.”论坛中国女性美术专题发言人。

何韵兰的作品以独特语言表达对生命与自然的诗意感受，具有浓厚的东方情怀和人文倾向。

重要展事：四次“全国美展”、“世纪女性”、“国际美术年——中国画、油画展”、“百年中国画展”、“国际水墨画大展”等，曾在六个国家举办过九次个人画展，曾获全国性美展银奖两项、铜奖一项，多项国际优秀奖。
