Artist statement

For me, peace starts from within each person and has a ripple effect to the world around.

I believe that an understanding of our common journey could open our hearts to each others’ differences and create a bridge to peace and harmony. I like to convey these notions in my work in a manner easy to understand by everyone.

对于我来说，和平始于内心，而它已波及到我周围的世界。我相信每个人都有一致的想法和共同的征程，因为这样大家都可以敞开心胸，共同创造一个和平与安宁的社会。我喜欢把这种概念融入在我的工作在方式上，希望每个人都能了解这个概念。

Ingrid Düsselberg is a ceramic sculptor, who mainly specializes in figurative work. She also tutors in her field and has given many workshops locally as well as internationally.

The artist was born in Italy, however, was raised and educated in Germany. As a young adult, she migrated to Australia, where she completed her studies in Ceramics and Art & Design.

Ingrid has exhibited widely; she held a number of solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions, both in Australia and overseas.

She has received several awards and won many prizes. Her work was purchased for the ceramic collection of Matsudo, Japan. Her work is internationally renowned and found in many private collections all over the world.

英格丽杜瑟贝是澳洲著名的陶艺雕塑， 擅长于人物雕塑。 经常到世界各地主持陶艺工作营。她出生于意大利，在德国长大和受教育。 成年后迁居澳洲，在那里完成陶艺和美术设计课程。曾经有几次个展及参加国内外展览多次。作品曾经多次获奖， 并获日本Matsudo 典藏。
